Their are those such as Billy Graham and Son, Harold Camping, Rick Warren and many, many others who are bringing incredible shame upon the Lord Jesus Christ by stating things that just are not true. They have no Biblical basis at all, instead create their own new revelations, their driving power is the 'mystery of iniquity' (2 Thess 2:7). Most likely and frankly, they are quite often wolves, sometimes knowing and unknowingly deceiving. The others are those who are proud believers that will not accept Plain Simple Bible Truth.
Acts 20:29-30 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
Yet only a little study can refute these folks, all we need to do is open up the Bible (KJV is the only English version I trust) and look. In some cases, some state amazing dates and make outlandish comments which are not founded on anything solid at all, using fear as one of their tactics. They heap up inferences and assumptions to create seeming huge arguments which brainwash and completely miss-lead the Biblically ignorant.
Yes, there are many things that we ought to be afraid of and a good scare can actually do us some good and these things we need to act on. But when we hear constant false alarms and wrong claims, people will become complacent and ignore or miss the real one.
This is my stand against these people!
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:13-17
I am afraid that many believers have given themselves over to false-hoods for the simple reason that it keeps them comfortable, they don't want to lose friends and become unpopular and gladly sit under those who will continue to make them feel good. Watch out, dare you make them uncomfortable.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2Timothy 4:3-4
I have not started this site with the intent to make friends, so I believe it will cause more to leave than come, sadly you will most likely be one of them. There is so much rubbish in churches these days that I believe many believers are quite sick of it, so join me if you like or start something similar.
Gal 4:16, 18 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.
Sincerely Russell Saxelby.

This site also has a large section on the Second Coming of Christ, of which I have been working on for quite some time. I do not believe that I have cornered every little detail surrounding this topic, in fact, I would honestly say that I still have gaps in dealing with some parts of it. But I have heavily touched some of the arguments in deciding when should the Blessed Hope should occur.
Many folk when searching out this subject go first to some book store and read what seems to be the most popular and generally accepted books. This is not my collection of thoughts based upon popular or commonly accepted opinions, which most really are, but it is what can be seen from the Bible itself.
I have read their arguments then examined them critically against the ONLY standard and have found them failing miserably, I challenge you to put them to the test, word for word, line upon line, does the Bible say that really or is that their opinion?
My site is only in the beginning stages, so there is a lot more to come, many things are still in the process of construction so don't jump to any silly conclusions. Constructive criticism will always be considered.
I am not a Minister, Pastor or even a Theologian of any sort, but anybody can know the Scriptures if they but only humbly read it and pray, making it their all and everything. The depth relationship with Christ is not decided by your years at College. I have heard with my own ears where a man spoke of the different things in the Tabernacle and what they meant only to say later that he missed a close relationship with the Saviour.
I have a links page to which I suggest other places for resources and good advice, I believe that to the greater extent of the sites are excellent and extremely safe, but I don't agree with everything as they may know doubt think the same of me.
